it's nice to meet you
my journey
I didn’t exactly take the shortest route to finding my colors. My first color analysis was virtual. “Congrats, you’re a Muted Autumn!” I spent a lot of money on it and was not happy with the result. Excuse me, there is nothing “muted” about me!
So, I gave it a try. I bought (a lot of) soft, muted clothes. Begrudgingly, I started to feel a bit more powerful, focused, and honestly, pretty. If color could make me feel that different, I wanted to help other people experience it too. Start the ChatGPT research!
I invested in the International Image Institute’s Color Analysis Mastery certification course. The more I learned, the more I wondered if my virtual result was right.
During my certification, I was analyzed again. This time, in person. My result changed: Warm Spring. Suddenly, things made a lot more sense.
That experience is a big part of why I created the color me lab and why I believe in seeing color on an actual person, with actual fabric, in real time. You can see subtle changes as colors move against the skin that are difficult to capture through a screen.
color outside the box
I love color too much to pay attention to all the rules. I will continue to wear black and hot pink no matter what.
I want the same freedom for you. Your analysis should feel less like being handed a rulebook and more like getting a really useful list of hints and tips.
Wear what you want, how you want it. If I can help you feel great in what you’re wearing and make your colors work harder for you, I’m here for it.
Let’s try a few things, test our hypotheses, and discover what works best for you.

okay, what do you want to know?
common questions
what should i wear to my consultation?
The ideal scenario is no makeup, a white top, and your natural hair visible if you don’t color it, but I want you to be comfortable! I’ll have makeup remover wipes, a white hair scarf and cape ready if we need them. If you color your hair, I’ll need to know what your natural color was before you started coloring it.
Honey, we’ve all tried to hide the grays. This is a judgment free zone!
what happens during our time together?
First, we’ll chat and get to know each other. Hopefully, within about 10 minutes you’ll feel at ease and comfortable with the fact that I’m about to be all up in your personal space, draping different colored fabrics across your chest to compare them directly against your face. We'll start with undertone, move into your seasonal family, then, with the full experiment, keep testing colors until we find your personal palette.
do i have to stop wearing colors outside my palette?
Absolutely not. I’m a Warm Spring who still wears black and hot pink. Your palette is information, not a rulebook. The goal is to understand what different colors do so you can decide how you want to use them.
what if i don’t like my result?
Tell me! You’re part of the experiment. We’ll look at what we’re seeing together and talk through the result. You don’t have to suddenly love every color in your palette, and I promise I won't let anybody confiscate your favorite black dress.
why do you only offer in person consultations?
Color can look different through cameras, screens, lighting, and photo settings. In person, we can compare actual fabrics against your skin and watch the changes happen in real time. My own result changed when I went from a virtual analysis to an in person one, so this part is pretty important to me.
what do i take home?
It depends on the package you choose. Color curious includes your seasonal result and a one-page Seasonal Lab Result guide. The full experiment goes further and includes your personal digital Colorology palette, so your colors can come shopping with you.
can i come back for more help?
Please do! If you find yourself staring at two sweaters wondering which one works, need help shopping, or have an actual color emergency, I offer color checks, personal shopping, and priority color help. Head to services + pricing to see your options.
